Campbell House provides accommodation for up to 60 boys from Years 7 - 12. The boys are cared for by the Head of Campbell House, who is a senior member of the teaching staff and resides on campus. He is supported by an Assistant Head of Boarding (also a teacher) and a team of senior staff members who provide 24 hour care on a roster basis. Additionally, the full time staff are supported by a team of residential tutors.
Campbell House is located on the King's Campus, adjacent to the Haslam Oval, tennis courts and the swimming pool. The School gymnasium is nearby and available to boarders for use after school. Boarders take advantage of their location to enjoy healthy and active recreation and leisure time. Campbell House includes a common room and television room, offering space and opportunities to relax with friends and enjoy a game of pool, table tennis or chess.
In 2012 the final stages of the Campbell House upgrade were completed providing the boys with state-of-the-art facilities and a home away from home in which they can relax, feel comfortable and take pride.
Junior boarders, Years 7 - 10, are accommodated in twin share rooms. All Year 7-10 students have study facilities in their rooms, along with email/internet access should they have their own computers. Years 11 and 12 boarders are accommodated in individual rooms, including study areas, with each room having email/internet connections (if the student has his own computer) and telephone (for incoming calls only).
School night and weekend homework/study time is supervised. All students have access to computers in the Boarding House and can therefore make use of email/internet privileges.
All boarders, girls and boys alike, share their morning, evening and weekend meals in the Boarders' Dining Room. The Dining Room also provides and delivers morning tea (recess) and school lunches to boarders at their respective campuses.
