Pembroke is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced applicant to undertake the role of Senior School Receptionist. This is a permanent, part time position working full time during term time (37.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year).

The successful candidate will:

  • Greet and welcome visitors and manage visitor sign-in procedure.
  • Attend to phone, email and visitor enquiries.
  • Manage the student absentee procedure.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate school community data.
  • In collaboration with the Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior School, support the efficient and effective operations of the campus.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the School’s digital asset management system (Canto).
  • Undertake general administrative duties to support other staff.
  • Support the Health Centre in the absence of the Registered Nurse.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage and work with a range of stakeholders, particularly young people.
  • A proactive person who welcomes and encourages collaboration with others.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritise work and multi-task.
  • An aptitude for and the capacity to utilise various IT and software programs.
  • Current Working with Children Check, Reporting Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Training certification and First Aid qualifications.
  • Administration and customer service experience.
