Future-Proofing Your Career: Skills, Strategy and Adaptability in a Changing World
A conversation about staying relevant as industries shift, technology evolves and career paths become less linear.
Join us for the inaugural event of our new alumni initiative, Career Connect.
Career Connect is a space developed specifically for Pembroke alumni. It connects the unique puzzle pieces that form our extensive alumni network – bringing together people, experiences and opportunities across a wide range of industries.
Hosted by our Director of Development and Philanthropy, Vincent Ciccarello OAM, this event will feature a dynamic Q&A with Pembroke alums Michaela Webster (1986) and Anton Andreacchio (2004), as they share their career journeys, pivotal decisions and how they’ve adapted to change along the way.
This is a conversation for anyone looking to build a resilient, future-ready career, no matter your industry or stage.
The evening will conclude with a Q&A, followed by an informal networking session – an opportunity to continue putting the puzzle pieces together.

We’re excited to return to Brisbane following the success of last year’s event, once again hosting our annual dinner at the excellent Donna Chang for a night of outstanding food.

For those new to Sydney, it is also a wonderful opportunity to make connections and feel part of a community early. Save the date! Our 2026 Interstate Old Scholars and Community Drinks are coming up, with venues to be announced soon. As always, events will be held in central CBD locations close to public transport, and if midweek, will run from 6:30pm to 9:30pm to make it easy to join us after work.
