Pembroke is a dynamic place of learning for all students, aged 4 to 18. Our students are encouraged to develop their self-management, be curious, be intellectually rigorous, to delight in learning and the exploration of their own potential.

Pembroke invests significantly in recruiting and developing outstanding staff and we are known for the good health of student and teacher relationships. We believe that teachers make a difference to the students they teach.

Our curriculum extends from our child-centred, inquiry-based transdisciplinary learning experiences in the Junior School's International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, the Australian Curriculum in the Middle School through to the two academic programs offered in the Senior School: The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).

Our academic program is enriched by participation in a variety of relevant excursions, academic competitions, exchange programs, study tours and Career Services. We have links to other institutions, both secondary and tertiary, as well as dedicated specialist teachers to provide extension programs and learning support for our students as needed. We have a strong commitment to Indigenous Education for all students.

We nurture our students’ strengths and interests within a curriculum framework that covers the eight nationally recognised key learning areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Society and Environment, Languages, Arts, Health and Physical Education and Technology.
